The IRC in Washington, DC
|
Who we are:
The International Rescue Committee has resettled over 20,000 refugees in the greater DC area since 1975. The IRC helps newly-arrived refugees become independent and self-sufficient through programs offering temporary financial support, employment assistance, case management, English classes, and other social services. We are located in the Suburban Washington Resettlement Center. The Center is walking distance to the Silver Spring metro stop on the red line.
- Our hours of operation are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Please note that IRC's Government Relations Office is located at 1730 M Street, Suite 505, Washington, DC 20036. For information about the activities of the IRC's government relations headquarters office in Washington DC, click here.
