Within the first year of residing in the U.S., refugees apply for permanent residence, and after five years they apply for citizenship. IRC Tucson is accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals to provide assistance in completing immigration forms. Our immigration services include:

  • Status adjustment
  • Application for naturalization
  • Assistance obtaining travel documents
  • Family reunification

These services allow us to achieve our goal of ensuring that refugees we resettle become fully integrated into their new home country.
