Make Dining Out Count - Wednesday, June 18, 2008
in commemoration of World Refugee Day
World Refugee Day honors the courage, strength and determination of women, men and children who are forced to flee their homeland under fear of persecution, conflict and violence.
This June 18th, the International Rescue Committee asks you to invest in Northern California’s refugee population by dining out at selected Bay Area restaurants that have partnered with us in commemoration of World Refugee Day. By dining out at one of these participating restaurants you will be benefiting the brave women, children, and men that we serve.
Please join us and celebrate the strength and courage of refugees in Northern California.
