The Boise office of the International Rescue Committee helps match skilled workers, newly arrived as refugees from other countries, to area employers. The IRC program is free and benefits both employers and workers with a range of services.  Theses services include on-site visits to determine the needs of employers, thorough screenings of applicants, job counseling and placement, and interpretation and translation of job-related materials.

• Receive free follow-up services offered by a knowledgeable and multi-lingual IRC staff - The IRC employment staff's duty is to ensure that refugees find employment and are successful in their jobs. Job Developers and translators accompany clients to interviews and orientations, and are available any time the employer or client has a question.

All the individuals sponsored by IRC have been legally admitted to the U.S. under Section 207 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, and are EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZED. All legal refugees have employment authorization stamped on their I-94 immigration documents. Due to various points of entry, the authorization stamped on the I-94 documents may be dissimilar.
