English as a Second Language (ESL) Program
ESL tutors and case mentors work closely with Case Managers and the Employment Services Specialist to create lesson plans and experiential learning opportunities that help newly arrived refugee’s secure early employment and perform the daily tasks necessary for their family's well-being.

ESL tutors cover topics as:
• Resolving housing problems
• Using public transportation
• Calling 911 for health-related emergencies
• Completing basic forms such as job applications
• Excusing their child's absence from school
• Accessing community resources such as the bank and post office
