Immigration
IRC's Atlanta office is a Board of Immigration Appeals accredited agency that offers assistance with many necessary immigration services such as Family Reunification petitions (petitions for refugees and asylees to bring their family members to the U.S), Citizenship and Permanent Residence applications, Employment Authorization Documents, Travel Documents, I-94 Replacements, Change of Address (AR-11) forms, Inquiries about the Status of I-551 Cards, Renewal of Green Cards, Waivers, BCIS Requests for Evidence and Affidavits of Support, to ensure that everyone has a voice and a stake in our society's future. These services are provided at little or no cost to clients and there is always a fee waiver for clients that can't afford certain services.
Family Reunification
If you are a refugee or asylee from Burma, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (Brazzaville), DRC (Congo), Iran, Liberia, Somalia, or Sudan, you are eligible to file an Affidavit of Relationship (AOR) in order to promote the resettlement to the United States for your spouse (husband or wife), parents, or unmarried child under 21 years of age.
If you are filing an AOR for your parents you may include your brothers and/or sisters only if they are unmarried and are living with your parents.
If you would like to file an AOR, we would be glad to help you. Please come in to the IRC office for further information and instructions, or contact Meliha Bosnjak at (404) 292-7731 x 44, or at Meliha.bosnjak@theIRC.org. Click here for more information about Family Reunion.
