IRC Helps Lebanese Families Recover

September 5, 2006—As Lebanon begins the process of rebuilding communities devastated by recent violence, the IRC’s emergency team is working in hard-hit villages in the south to improve water supply and hygiene.  The IRC is also linking up with local groups and communities to set up short-term recreational and learning activities for children, as well as programs to address the emotional, physical and security concerns of women and girls.
