WE'VE MOVED!  Our office is now located at 231 East 400 South, Suite 50

Adopt a family by providing the most basic of household goods!  For a family profile and a list of donations the family has requested, please call 801.328.1091 and ask to speak with Candice.

The following items also help refugee families begin new lives in our community; we happily accept these donations:

  • New Blankets
  • Couches
  • Backpacks and other back-to-school items for children
  • Dish sets and silverware
  • Baby strollers, clean and in good condition
  • Gift cards to local grocery stores

Donations are tax deductible.

AmeriCorps*VISTA + Internships
IRC is currently recruiting an AmeriCorps*VISTA to build and coordinate our volunteer program.  This is a full-time volunteer commitment, with a living stipend, for one year. The VISTA project offers opportunities to develop program management and nonprofit skills for recent college graduates.

Please contact Meghan Horner for more details on this position or for inquiries regarding IRC's internships for students.

Volunteer
IRC is in need of child care help M-Th mornings from 10-12pm; volunteers will watch over children while their mothers attend an ESL class on-site.

IRC will hold a family mentor training on August 6th in the evening.  For details on the child care and other volunteer opportunities, contact Meghan Horner.

Making a Monetary Gift
Monetary gifts from generous individuals are an important source of support for refugees resettling in Salt Lake through IRC.  Donations are tax deductible.  To make a monetary donation, click here.
