Sarah Hughes, Director, IRC-UK

Sarah Hughes is the director of IRC-United Kingdom.

Prior to joining IRC-UK in 2005, Ms. Hughes was the Head of Africa Division at Christian Aid and previously oversaw Christian Aid’s Eastern and Central Africa team. Her career with Christian Aid spanned 25 years, with a brief assignment between 1994-1996 to the National Council of Churches of Kenya, in Nairobi, where she was a consultant spearheading a major reorganization of restructuring of the Council. Ms. Hughes is a linguist and anthropologist by training.
