Photos - Aiding the Forgotten in Central African Republic

When you have a neglected, poverty-stricken country where disease rates soar and life expectancy is extremely low, and you mix that with outbreaks of violence and mass displacement, you get a rapidly unfolding humanitarian disaster.  That’s the situation in Central African Republic. Melissa Winkler was there with the IRC’s Emergency Response Team to help launch humanitarian aid programs.
