Uprooted Iraqis: An Urgent Crisis

17 Dec 2007 – Millions of Iraqis have fled their homes as a result of violence and persecution and are now living either as refugees in neighboring countries or as internally displaced people inside Iraq.

Many more Iraqis are living in fear in Iraq. They wish to flee to safety but are trapped within Iraq and are in considerable danger of violence. Many do not have adequate access to clean water, food, healthcare or education.

These vulnerable Iraqis need help now.
