IRC's Emergency Response Roster

The External Emergency Response Roster is comprised of experienced personnel available for short-term emergency assignments, drawing on former IRC employees worldwide as well as other qualified external candidates.

The Human Resources Department supports the IRC's capacity to respond to and anticipate humanitarian crises, by coordinating the deployment of emergency personnel to the site of the crisis within 72 hours and by ensuring staff are recruited and retained for emergency programs.

  • Shelter Engineers
  • Logistics/Operations
  • Grant Writers
  • Child Specialist (unaccompanied/tracing/psycho-social)
  • Information Officer
  • Protection Manager

Requirements

Minimum two years experience in international relief work; Minimum two years experience living and working in unstable environments; Proven ability working with international donors and INGOs; Ability to work CODAN, VHF and Sat phones.
