Procurement Policies

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) welcomes the interest of suppliers and manufacturers who can provide needed equipment, services, materials and supplies to our organization. We believe that only through cooperation between our supply partners and ourselves can we receive the best price for the right products in an atmosphere that is fair to all.

All of the IRC's procurement practices [PDF] are governed by not only our internal rules and regulations, but by various donor and grant regulations as well. Other practices that we consider to be good business procedures have been designed and instituted to make our working together more efficient and worthwhile. As a result, our Administrative requirements may vary depending on the equipment or service procured, and for which program the transaction is supporting. All Request for Proposals and Request for Quotes will clearly list our requirements, and the eligibility requirements for those supply partners that wish to participate in the tender.

If we can be of assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to call on us. We solicit your cooperation and appreciate your interest.
